An early booking discount will be available on some social events booked before midnight Friday 2 May 2025, so it makes sense to arrange your aprés racing well in advance, especially as most events have a strict maximum capacity.
Get into the regatta mood with a hospitable club supper that begins with a welcome 'Dark 'n' Stormy'. After the classic sailors cocktail, sit down to enjoy Local Steak, Fries, Peppercorn Sauce and Garden Salad. Desert is Lemon Posset, Poppyseed Shortbread and Raspberry Compote.
This Cowes Classics Regatta BBQ event at RLYC features a welcome glass of Dartmouth Gin & Tonic, locally produced Steak, Pork or Vegetarian Sausage, Garlic and Soy Chicken Thigh, Corn on the Cob, Caesar Salad, Potato Salad and Dressed Garden Salad, followed by Tropical Pavlova.
The drinks reception at Kendalls Fine Art Gallery has become so popular that we have had to set a maximum guest list of 100 people. The reception remains enitrely free to wristband holding competitors but you will need to make reservations in advance to be included on the guest list.
Nyetimber Classic Cuvée Reception followed by Dartmouth Gin Cured Salmon, Aromatic Roasted Pork with a Peach and Basil Glaze, Strawberries and Cream Cheesecake, Dartmouth Gin and Cassis Compote and including half a bottle of wine per person. Guests are asked to arrive at 19.30 for 20:00 sit-down.
The Regatta Prize-giving and La Bastille Cabernet Rosé Drinks Reception will be held at the lovely Royal Yacht Squadron Pavilion. The RYS hospitality team will as always be on hand to serve guests with delicious La Bastille Cabernet Rosé.
A great way to wind down after the event is the 'Survivors Supper', a comforting quality meal at the Royal London. Enjoy a two course supper including a very welcome glass of Pimms to get you in the mood.
