Visit Classics Day v1

Cowes Classics Day 2026 LogoSunday 7th June 2026 will be a very special day in Cowes. Once again, we welcome Classic Car owners from both the Isle of Wight and beyond to display their wonderful and often unique examples of classic motoring on The Parade in the heart of Cowes. As a further attraction, there will also be a collection of historic and iconic motor vessels and yachts moored at Trinity Landing in front of The Parade.

Visiting this unique automotive and maritime showcase is free of charge. 

  • Over 50 classic cars on display.
  • A unique collection of interesting and historic motor vessels and yachts.
  • Explore the stories of each car and boat from the presentation notes displayed prominently on each entry.
  • Talk to the owners and restorers.
  • Vote for your favourite car and boat. There will be an award ceremony at 3.00pm.
  • Further attractions are being prepared and will be unveiled soon.

Motor Gun Boat 81The restored Motor Gunboat 81 is hoping to visitCowes Classics Day is a day to celebrate the past and revive nostalgic memories, with classic cars, yachts and motor boats on display for all to enjoy.

The event is set on and around The Parade, in front of the royal yacht clubs in Cowes, Isle of Wight, the historical home of yachting in the UK. Visitors will be able to enjoy this unique gathering of historic and interesting cars and boats, accompanied by a support programme of activities and happenings.

Over 1,000 people visited Cowes Classics Day last year, and we expect to significantly exceed that participation this year.

Motor Gun Boat 81This is a Red Funnel Supported Event

Red Funnel are a tremendous supporter of Cowes Classics Regatta and Cowes Classics Day and have agreed discounted tickets to visitors travelling to the event by ferry from Southampton to Cowes. Classics Day 2026 - The Awards

Various awards will be given on Classics Day including 'The People’s Choice', the Judges’ Best-in-Show  and the Judges’ Most Eclectic Car. There will also be an award for what the judges consider to be the most interesting Classic Boat.
